2nd or 3rd Year Plumber Apprentice

Leah The Plumber is looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprenticeship to join their growing team. Founded in 2013 we are local, friendly Saskatoonians who are dedicated to helping our customers get back to being comfortable at home specializing in Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning and Heating. As the 2nd or 3rd Plumbing Apprentice you’ll be responsible for all plumbing and heating assigned to them.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Ensure the health, comfort and safety of customers and fellow employees at all times by maintaining clean and safe work sites
  • Estimate all aspects of a project including; all materials, costs, equipment, and time frames
  • Perform rough-ins, repairing and replacing fixtures, locating and repairing and/or removing leaking or broken pipes
  • Install water heaters, water softeners, sinks, taps, and tubs
  • Assist in demolition for renovations
  • Instruct customers on proper care and maintenance of mechanical equipment

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Course certificate of completion for 2nd and 3rd year Plumbing
  • Knowledge and experience in the service area of the Plumbing and Heating industry an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, gas codes, and current laws and regulations of the trade
  • Common sense and logical approach to problem solving with top notch customer service skills and the ability to work independently
